This week looks like typical Aruba.

"Rainfall Outlook for the Last Quarter of 2010
    http://www.meteo.an/Index2.asp
Sea Surface Temperatures (SST) in the tropical Pacific Ocean have decreased in the meantime (August 2010) to below average values (La Niņa conditions) and that has already lead to above average values of rainfall in the ABC Islands. In the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, the sea surface temperatures are already at above average levels and the outlook is for these higher than normal temperatures to persist throughout the remainder of 2010. This is forecast to result in a good chance of significant rainfall for both the ABC and the SSS islands during the second half of 2010, including this rainy season (October-December).

That is just the long term climate prediction. Remember :
    1. The weather this week has been near perfect
    2. Rain in Aruba still falls mainly at night and early morning.

The torrential rains of a few weeks ago were caused by a series of tropical lows.

We traveled to Aruba in 2007 during
La Niņa and I worried a great deal beforehand about having a washed out vacation. It rained everyday, BUT the sun was out and shining brightly by 10 am everyday but two. One was overcast so we went touring and the other was off and on light showers so we went snorkeling. Figured we were going to be wet anyway.

It looks like a beautiful sunset tonight.

    Hi to all!

We came back from Aruba a little over a week ago and I do want to tell about the weather.

The rain was not that much during the day, even if it was very cloudy and dark at times, but the good thing is you can still tan, even if you sit on a bed and just seeing lots of coulds, you stll have a great tan at the end of the day so no worries about that.

The warmth was a little to much, since no wind and the humidity very high, I think it was a blessing there was not much sun because it would have been way to hot.

We had a great time even if we like it more with the wind!!!
I always look forard to be blown away by that warm wind, so I missed it, I also missed the blue skies, but hey it was the first time we ever had this weather on Aruba.

We will go back in a few months.

    Greetings to all!

We just returned from Aruba (10/9-10/23). We had 14 days of sunshine....no rain (maybe at night). We brought bug spray but didn't have to use it. As always, we had a wonderful time and now back to reality. Only 363 more days till our next trip!!!!!

    [B]http://www.accuweather.com/en-us/aw/...recast.aspx/B]

you are not going to like what you read on the forecast (clouds/showers).........BUT i think the meteorologists say these predictions to cover all bases. (kind of like burger places now only cook burgers well done...they want to cover all bases to make sure one does not get sick from eating raw hamburg) but i digress

sun, clouds, showers...........all very very typical aruba forecast.
the only concern you should have is lack of breeze.

please do not concern yourself with the forecast of showers.
again, typically is says clouds, showers and sun.
