Okay, everyone says that tropical storms in the Caribbean suck all of the wind out of Aruba right.

Tropical storm Arthur is off of the Yucatan at this moment...

I am about to leave for Aruba and I was wondering if it has been humid? We went last June and there was barely any hunidity! It was so nice! We usually only go in Oct which is usually pretty humid..

Weather temperature wise today looks to be about the same as yesterday. It is normal for humidity to be higher at night and then as the sun of the day heats things up, it also dries things up.

According to the Meteorological service of the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba
"Synopsis: A weak tropical wave moved across the local region during the overnight hours and was located this morning just West of the ABC islands and will move further Westwards. This system could cause a slight increase in cloudiness over our islands with possibly a light passing shower during the morning."

Skies this a.m. are mostly cloudy at the Bucuti, but the 15 day forecast has no mention of precipitation whatsoever.

So I am excited and leave on Sat morning. But I just checked the 10 day forecast and it looks like most days have "Scattered Showers / Wind"

From some of the posts it seems like I should not be worried - but I am

one thing I especially enjoy about the weather is wind.....it cools you off and you don't realize how hot it really is.....so lots and lots of sunscreen.!!!!!

My wife and I also leave for Aruba this weekend (Sunday, June 15th). We were worried about the forecast as well (and still kind of are worried), so thanks from us for everyone's responses.

So even though the forecast calls for wind/rain, we should still be able to enjoy plenty of time on the beach, right? If we could, we would stay on the beach the whole time we were there.

Thanks again - looking forward to our time in Aruba and hoping we don't have to cancel for bad weather.
