Following all this talk about the rainfall in Aruba the past year I went to look at the records of a local weather station on the island in Paradera. They only began keeping records in July and they recorded a total of 41.62 inches of rain between July and December 31. For perspective, the annual total rainfall averages 20.3 inches.

    September
    11.96in
    October 6.15in
    November 10.72in
    December 9.73in

Another weather station in Noord shows
29.56 in for the same period and 51.73in for the entire year. Just goes to prove that it can be raining on your part of the beach and within eye sight it is sunny and beautiful! Wait for the rain cloud to pass and you should be just fine.

    Weather Site for history

This is a good site to research past weather on Aruba. Weather station is located in Noord.

    Weather in August

    Hello All,

Can you all tell me what the weather and water temps are like in August?

I've been to Aruba towards the end of November beginnng of December and also the end of May beginning of June and the weather has been great but the water was the warmest in May/June.

    Please advise,

    Thank you.
I'm trying to figure out if I want to come in the end of June or the first week in August.

    Melissa

    ocean was always WARM

this past august, there was little breeze and we spent HOURS bobbing about in the ocean.
it was too hot to be sitting out in the sun.

Seawater temperatures in Aruba do not get that hot due to upwelling from the Atlantic current coming in contact with the South American continent. Look for temperatures about 82 F. in August and 83 F. in September through November and cooler the remainder of the year. Just perfect.
