    Weather & Currency

Hi Guys, off to Aruba on 1st November for the first time and cannot wait!

Just a couple of questions, I googled Aruba weather in november but all results are from 6-8 years ago. What kind of weather should I expect, am I right to believe there is a chance of rain but most likely at night? Often cloudy days?

Also, with the pound so weak against the dollar, I wonder what the strength is against the Florin, Would I get more for my buck if changing to florin or is it such a small difference it not worth it!

Cant wait to go and share experience!

    Thanks!

Welcome to the forum.... Weather is quite dependable with mid-eighties during the day lotsa sun and trade winds of 10-15 mph... perfect weather. Not often a cloudy day and the clouds blow over quickly. Any rain would generally be at night. Can't help with money conversion..... but I'm sure someone will step up.

The Florin is generally pegged at 1.75 to 1.77 against the US dollar so, really, the volatility (or lack thereof) of the US Dollar is what you'd be up against. If you'd want to have a predictable outcome, I'd suggest banking on the florin/GBP conversion rate of approx 1 florin = 0.46 GBP or, conversely, 1 GBP = 2.18 florin.
