Weather help

Hi all,

We're looking for a sunny vacation for the weekend of October 24th. Aruba came up but the weather is not looking too sunny. Can anyone tell me what the long-range really is? Worthy of sun-bathing? If no, where is a good location?

Thanks all!

Re: Weather help

Usually Aruba is always sunny its your best bet, I was in Aruba during those days, was because of tropical disturbance in the area, but still was nice days for the beach. But in general 98% of the year you can bet on sunny days.

Re: Weather help

Hi fellow Canadain (Ottawain), a lot of times the weather looks terrible on the map but in reality the Aruba weather is just fine. You may have a little rain in the morning or overnight but that's it! This is their rainy season but Aruba is known for its lack of excessive rain. News is that they are getting some rain at the moment due to the tropical storm in the area. Perhaps someone on the island can help you????

Re: Weather help

If you posted this question on the 17th, the 24th is not a long range prediction.

It tends to rain more in the fall months than in the Jan-feb etc months.
Go and have a blast, you might get lucky and have an all sunny weekend or you might just get lucky. There's plenty to do and see if it rains and it hardly rains all day.

Re: Weather help

My girlfriend is in Aruba right now, and just emailed me last night, she said the weather is glorious and the sun has not stopped shining. Last week they had rain and the waves were huge, which I had witnessed on the Bucuti webcam, but it is sunny and perfect now!
She also said there were some palm trees (from Palm Beach) that were ruined, and lots of seaweed washed up on Palm Beach, but that is all being cleared up now.

Go, enjoy, the weather is perfect in Aruba this week!
