I would have asked to have my kids take a picture with him for our Xmas cards!

On my recent visit I stayed at the Aruba Marriott Surf Club, while eating breakfast I noticed that there were a lot of birds hanging around. I was took my plate to my table and placed it down and turned around to get an apple. I heard this lady yell out, "HEY!! The Birds are taking your food!!" Sure enough I turn around to see close to eight small birds picking the food on my plate. Talk about some gangsta birds.

one one of our visits to depalm island, we saw an older gentleman with a life jacket on.
it appeared to be identical to a cruise ship lifejacket (orange, big and bulky)
he wore that thing, while he was lying down in a lounge, sitting in a chair, standing in the buffet line.
we never did see him wear it in the water.
a few times my dh wanted to ask him just what the deal was, but i encouraged him to "stai zitto!!"

I have a similar story, many years back at the Holiday Inn, there was a gentlemen who also looked exactly like Santa. All kids were running to him to take a pictures and called him "Santa" . He is from Boston area ( suburbs) and as a matter of fact, he was play Santa for local school or Country club.
My son took a picture with him too

on our first trip to aruba we stayed at the ABC and Dh and I were on the beach getting settled in for a nice long sun session when a girl in only a thong walked past. My Dh was bending over to straighten his towel on the beach chair and did not see her, so me being the saddist that I am said..."honey you just missed a girl with no top on and she was beautiful...". He straightened up and spun his head around so fast I thought he would get whiplash !!!!
He got this dejected look on his face and said I was mean because I probably saw he in time to tell him but didn't want him to see her.....I laughed and said I did not...which in honesty I didn't. So he says to me...will you walk down the beach with me so I can see her ? I said I would not but he could go without me. I really do not have a problem with my hubby looking. He can look all he wants, as long as that is all he is doing I see nothing wrong with it, after all, if I see someone attractive I look....
But if you would have seen him spin around, I almost peed myself !!!!!

On our first trip to Aruba we stayed at Manchebo (pre-renovation). There were numerous topless women on the beach that week, to the extent that it was no longer a novelty. DW continued to point them out to me all week even though my head didn't swivel around violently anymore.
