    Mr. Ratt
This is the Mrs. of the nice gent you met at the divi - we were excited as well to see a forum member in Aruba rather than on the board.

We have about 50 weeks to wait for our next trip as well!

Hot and sunny today, rather humid. But I loved it!

I guess we were lucky on the weather March 17 - March 30 -- every day was sunny and the wind blew 16 - 30 mph, which is exactly what we had 3 years ago!! Sea was calm (actually would have liked a few waves for body surfing!)
Hope everyone there is now having perfect weather!!
"Bad" weather in Aruba is probably still better than weather anywhere else! :-)

I remember one overcast day in our two weeks there but it didn't phase me too much. I was still hot, by the pool and enjoying life!!!

All I can say for East Coast Residents is...remember December; January and February here; and then, give a big sigh of relief after all we have been through and being able to enjoy any day in "Paradise" aka "One Happy Island."

I'm a bit slow in this report, but we were on the island from April 5-12th. Yes, very odd weather. During previous visits we would have one day of clouds and six days of sun. This year, six days of clouds and one day of sun. Prior to our departure to Aruba, my husband warned me; there was a tropical storm over Venezuela, which may account for the strange weather. On our first day I started to complain about the clouds but soon remembered that I could still get a nice tan under the completely overcast skies. Considering the Hol. Inn does not have enough papalas for their guests, at least we weren't baking uncomfortably in the sun.
