    Well done and thank you

A big thank you and "way to go" to all of the workers that are working diligently to clear the beaches, drain the puddles and do what they have to do in order to get Aruba back to "pre-Matthew" order.

Many hundreds of folks are working tirelessly for the sake of tourism.

    As a grateful tourist.......thank you!

Agree 100%! As I said on the Tam thread, I feel terrible for all of those doing the clean up, but really appreciate all of the work they're doing. Someone made a comment on one of the FB groups early this morning asking why they hadn't already started cleaning up and I wanted to scream. The storm was still actively in progress for goodness sake. Anyway, HUGE thank you to all the workers including the ones trying to get all of the tourists around in the mess.

That's one if the reasons I will alwaus value this forum over the Facebook groups. I feel like everyone here values Aruba and respects and appreciates the cultural differences . I can only imagine the sense of community that you feel on the island right now as the clean up is taking place. I bet you can just feel it in the air.

Since 1980, and throughout the many changes, we still love going downtown in Oranjestad.

Absolutely agree with the comments already posted here. Let me add my thanks and appreciation to the people doing the clean-up.

The sense of community mentioned by Traceyd14 is just one of the many things that make Aruba, well Aruba and why we keep going back.

From a grateful Canadian who has been going to Aruba since 1980, thank you.
