    Well Hello TS Erin... ERR

    http://www.wunderground.com/tropical...1305_5day.html

with just 11 days till we board our flight through Miami to Aruba I find myself once again stressing a Tropical Storm. Why do I do this every year? Let's all cross our fingers this one turns and heads out or fizzles out all together!

i hear ya...............since i live in Fla, i too have concerns.
but, there is a huge distance and a very wide swath/path.
it is easy for me to say, don't stress.....but i am glued to watching the spaghetti models...although there are none yet for erin.

remember, aruba has not had a direct hit in decades.
and as far as miami is concerned, who knows.
i think the main concern is that if/when the storm comes into play for the caribbean, the worst that it'll do is suck the comfortable tradewinds away from aruba.
and that is only "if" it slides north of aruba.

one of the best weather sites is www.wunderground.com
even though they are now owned by the weather channel, they are still good

glad that you are using it as your source of info

As of a few minutes ago, they think Erin will weaken before it ever makes landfall. Keeping fingers crossed for your trip!

I am with Pierre. All of the computer models are currently in agreement that the storm will pass north of the Caribbean all together.

AND based upon past history http://icons-ak.wunderground.com/dat...1305_climo.gif, it is HIGHLY unlikely to even visit Florida.

If I were my grandfather years ago living in Bermuda, THEN I would be keeping an eye on it.
