    Whadja forget...?

As we get closer to our vacation each year I really begin to agonize over forgetting something.

Fortunately we've been lucky (knock wood).... The only misses so far was first, a sweater for my wife for the airplane. The sweatshirt at the airport gift shop took care of that. Last year it was a beach bag.... with an easy, but expensive, fix at the Radisson gift shop. Thankfully, never forgot something that really messed up our trip or schedule!

We did forget to turn in room keys a few of times....guess we weren't ready to let go of the vacation!

    How have you done?

Sounds like it was the departure flight...... think that's better than missing the arrival flight!

when arriving in aruba a couple of years ago, we realized that we left our toiletry bag on the kitchen counter.
most everything easily replaced in aruba, except we had to run to the dr and then to pharmacy to get a script for husband's bp medicine and my allergy nasonex spray.

when arriving home same trip, i realized i had left my sneakers behind the closet door at renaissance brand new new balance, barely broken in.

A few years ago, we left for Aruba but my wallet did not. All my credit cards and half my cash were in that wallet. Fortunately, my wife paid the way with her CC.

I remember one other thing we forgot. It was about 9 years ago when the first thing you would do is stop by charles booth and pick up a phone. I forgot the charger that came with the phone in the room and didn't remember until returning it in the airport. I remember getting charged $30 for the charger and being, lets say very unhappy!!

Clothes! We seem to have clothing issues in my family. Our first trip to Aruba I forgot to bring shorts! It was October and our flight was 6am the morning after our wedding. Not the smartest time to plan a flight....

A few years ago my husband...who is the packing lieutenant.... forgot his clothes in Aruba. Like, all of them! He opened every other drawer, I had done laundry in the middle of the night and packed the suitcases with clean clothes to go home so my clothes & the kids clothes were already in the suitcases when he woke up.
