On both of our last 2 trips we forgot our insulated drink cups we use on the beach. We are getting quite a collection of Aruba insulated cups.
Not sure when, but we will be back

Once I forgot the charger for my rental phone at the hotel. I only noticed when I returned the rental phone. The person at the office said he could not give me my $60 deposit for the rental phone back! That was like a shock and my reaction: "Come on, man! You cannot be serious!"

I have to add that they didn't have the phone ready when I rented it and had it delivered later on to my hotel. So, I asked him, if they are again in that area in the next few days with other costumers, to just pick up the charger at my hotel. Luckily, he agreed, we called my hotel right away to retrieve the charger from the room I had stayed in and all worked out at the end.

    Everything happens for a reason.

On our recent trip, Dd forgot her Ray Bans which Santa Claus had given her for Christmas.

First morning Dd & Dh made a run to Super Food for Brights to bring home so picked up a pair of sunglasses for $7 at their cosmetics counter.

A few days later, Dd LOST those sunglasses when they fell off the dive boat.

After her dives she ran into a kiosk selling knock off Ray Bans. They were $15. Dd offered $5 because that was all she had left on her after tipping the dive guide and became the proud new owner of another new pair of glasses.

    All's well that ends well.

Two things same trip. Got a brand new pair of Ray Ban sunglasses as a present. While I made the trip the sunglasses spent 8 days in a snow covered vehicle at the BWI airport. For that same trip I had purchased a 120 dollar Texas de Brazil gift card during a holiday sale knowing I would be able to use it at the Aruba location. Just before leaving the rental heading over for our reservation I went to my luggage to retrieve the card only to find out that it never made the trip. Funny thing is I never found that card and its been over a year now. We still ended up going to the restaurant but their delicious sangria didn't flow nearly as freely as I had planned.
