that is the place
when there is wind blowing on aruba, all of the beaches feel it.
the windsurfers love that area as it is uncrowded and shallow.
when the wind stops.........eeeewww.

there are infrequent times when folks complain of sandblasting.
in 35+ visits, i have never been sandblasted.

the one thing you usually cannot do on the beach is to read a newspaper. unless it is on an ereader

The cameras are at the exact same location. One points south towards the high rises and the other points West/Northwest towards the sea/ocean.

You can see the location here

I would not worry about the wind in September. Average windspeed this time of year is 20 mph with 37 mph gusts. September winds average 15 mph and can be much less if there are any tropical lows in the area.

At the Radisson we saw some sand blowing close to the ground last week, but only a couple of the windiest days. We never gave it a thought and it did not affect us. I think I only noticed it because I saw it while we were in the water floating around with not a care in the world

Most of the resorts along Palm beach, including the Occidental, block the wind anyway.

A couple of days when I walked the concrete boardwalk I was praying for wind.
