i think i want to stay at the RENAISSANCE ARUBA RESORT & CASINO.

But i am not sure if i should stay at the
Renaissance Ocean Suites or The Renaissance Marina Hotel. any thoughts.

Ocean Suites. The Marina is nice but the pool faces the Main Street and it could get very loud. The Ocean has 2 pools and a lagoon a nice bar and resturant. We have time share there and we just love it. They are both nice but we like the Ocean better.

how are the rooms. do you really get a ocean view

You will if you request it........ask for Ocean/Pool view....I believe the odd numbered rooms are of those views, like 25 45, 2445 etc. the last two digits are the control numbers.

It's a toss up based purely on personal taste and needs.

We stayed at the BEACH TOWER (what you call the Ocean Suites) and LOVED IT. Yet, understand that we spent a LOT of time on the "other" side of the street in the Mall, casino and restaurants of the building that houses the MARINA TOWER. We probably went back and forth 2-3x a day for 6 days.

If you're walkers, that's fine ... maybe it's 5-7 mins max each way, but the REN also runs a golf cart shuttle between the two props. No big deal either way.

If you can afford the small added expense of the BEACH TOWER and want a MUCH MUCH nicer, larger suite and a terrific view, it's the way to do. If you don't care about the room view and size, and want to be slightly closer to the mall, restuarants, right on the main downtown street, go for the MARINA TOWER.

In our opinion, though, either way, you made a good choice with the REN !!!!!
