What Do You Do On A Rainy Day In Aruba?

We do things around the house.

**"Things around the house" = indoor cocktails

I have only had one in 22 trips and to be honest I don't even recall what we did it was so long ago. I am hoping I don't figure it out but if it happens again I am guessing it would revolve around indoor drinking as well.

Try to tough it out under a palapa...... or..... balcony drink-a-thon..... Fortunately, only experienced rain for about 30 minutes a couple of times.....

I don't think we ever had a rainy day on vacation. I would probably go shopping and stop somewhere for lunch, or sit out on a balcony and read.

Our early December trips the last couple years we have had a few rain days. Lots of naps, palapa sitting (aka vodka drinking with an umbrella), pier bar drinking, and lots of me saying "we should do [some random activity] later. What do you think? What do you want to do? What are you thinking about? What's your idea?" basically Jon ignoring me and saying "its going to stop, its not going to rain too much longer, we are going to the beach"

We've had the same thing as Tracey a few days in early December. If we are on the beach, we wait it out. If its a longer rain, we get in the car and drive around and look at all the neighborhoods and check out the houses.

Of all the times we've been there, we have only had one rainy day and it was the during the time we were looking to buy. We drove around the island, rechecking the neighborhoods, finding different roads to avoid traffic, visited some stores, watched TV and enjoyed being by ourselves.

We have had one morning that is sprinkled and we climbed Mt. Hooiberg, as it was not so wet as to be slippery but nice and cool.

we have had a few 2+ hour rain stretches in 45 trips.
during those times....we sat under our palapa and read or snoozed.
another time we found act1966's house, broke in and made some margaritas and waved and mooned the security cameras

periodically today, since i saw that it was mostly overcast with on and off again rain , i checked the bucuti camera and the people were under their umbrellas, probably thinking about heading over to act's house. link to bucuti cam https://www.bucuti.com/live-webcams#tarawebcam

and check out this thread suggestions for a rainy day?
