I think you do know what to expect..... you just think it might not be real!
It's all real and you will love it! Wish you a safe trip tomorrow and I do look forward to your trip report!

I expect beautiful beaches, beautiful weather, rest, relaxation, having great conversations with the local people who treat us like friends. Mimosa on the beach and a little gambling. The list can go on and on. I have never been disappointed with my Aruba.

This is really what i meant to convey. Dont get my post wrong either. I still love it. I just loved it more when it was a quiet island.
Last year i decided it was getting to expensive and i wouldn;t do my annual trip this summer. But as time went by the thought of not going this year started to register in my mind and it was pretty depressing. There is still no place like it.

I just got back from 28 trips to Aruba. I enjoy everything above but 1 thing I have changed. We go to eat at the local joints and don't fight the big beach crowds. Go local. We LOVE ARUBA!!!
Snorkel Mangel Halto, day or night with a waterscooter. Check out our website. E-mail Stuart at arubabob@live.com or call Stuart local: 745-7459 Or visit: www.arubabobsnorkeling.com 50th trip Dec 11, 2017

I have to support your message regarding Stop Building.
My husband and I are returning next month to visit Aruba. This will be our 12th trip since 1998. We love to relax on the beach, do some sailing and snorkeling.

For me, Aruba is a chance to get away from everyday life and spend time relaxing on the beach with my wonderful wife

I expect to reunite with my soul, which has stayed in Aruba since the first time I stepped out of the airport and felt the warm, embracing evening air.

I expect to feel well from the island's healing powers.

I expect to cry when my return flight takes off, like always.

    Thankfully some things never change..

You got it exactly right Princess! Could not have said it better myself. In addition to all of the above we look forward to seeing old friends that we have made througout the years.

I expect someone to say, "Welcome home!."
