45! Buy it in the states. Same exact brands twice as much in Aruba than discount stores like Wal-Mart etc.

Also use sunscreen all over any exposed parts, even if you spend a lot of time in the shade.

No sunscreen needed if you spend all the days in your room....have a great vacation and a great wedding as well....

I just used 50 all week, reapplied every 2 hours, and still burned a little...mostly tan though. I cannot stress enough how strong the equatorial sun is. My dermatologist recommended Ocean Potion brand, it is in some Walmarts, I got it online www.oceanpotion.com.

I've been going to Aruba for 9 years now. My family is from Sicily and Malta. I find SPF 8 to be just fine and after 3 or 4 days I usually go with nothing.

No doubt this is an exception. If I do get any sort of burning (which is usually lite as it is rare) I use a quality after-sun and take plenty of vitamins, especially the oil-based vits (A,D,E,K)
