Exactly what I said to my 11 yo when I "caught" her with the TV on day. Put her butt out on the beach with a book instead. Imagine she survived 12 whole nights without TV?

Might have to sneak some peaks at the US Open golf in June though. Fortunately that will be right about bedtime and the Tam gets the Golf channel so we'll also get the recap before drifting off to sleep with visions of turquoise waters and vibrant blue skies dancing in our heads.
