What would you do for the best birthday in Aruba?

My travelling companions have all told me that its up to me to decide how I want to spend the day for my birthday in Aruba. So naturally I want to see what you guys suggest! How would you describe your perfect birthday in Aruba? Some of my ideas so far include a day on the beach under a palapa followed by an afternoon Palm Beach bar crawl. Or maybe we would make this our Jolly Pirates Day? I am even thinking stopping by cheesy Senor Frogs could be fun. One thing I know is that I don't want to make dinner reservations and be locked in. My plan is do have a nice dinner and early evening the day before.

How about that bus that does the bar crawls for the evening? I think its called Cucuknocoo or something like that? Maybe pamper yourself during the afternoon after the beach with time in the spa for a massage?

I love my birthday to be casual and relaxed. I probably would spend the morning on the beach, have a light bite at someplace like Bugaloe then head off for a cruise/snorkel on the Black Pearl. From there, a quick change and cruise the restaurants along Palm Beach. Maybe Salt and Pepper for tapas or Queens restaurant for some local cuisine. Then if energy allowed a stop at the casino. However, it's much more likely I would find a quiet spot for a glass of wine at the beach.

    Black Pearl gets my vote!
book on line for cheapest prices.
20 person boat with long lounge hairs, great staff, like really great, flowing drinks, Dutch grilled cheese sandwhiches and watermelon. This boat is a class act, staff know your name 5 min after you board. Leaves at pier next to Surf.
when done grab a drink at Moomba!!
    ok... I'll come too

for me, just being in aruba would be the best birthday celebration. our christmas present to each other is two weeks in aruba. we don't exchange gifts, that is our gift.

Peg your day might be the winner. It sounds like lots of this I like. I need to look into Black Pearl..thanks to those who suggested it. We do like Jolly Pirates but it's more my husbands thing.. He likes the rope swing. Ace..I considered the party bus. We have done it before and its a blast but I prefer day drinking over late nights and definitely can't handle both in the same day. Plus I'm not sure our friends would really enjoy it. Not sure its really their style. I will do it again one day though..we had a great time.

Gaby, we do the same type of thing for birthdays and Christmas. We don't exchange gifts we always find an outing or trip to enjoy together as our gifts.

    Black Pearl Question

Is there no music at all on board Black Pearl? I get that its not a party boat do they play any light background music like steel drum band type Caribbean stuff? From what I am reading it seems like no. That could be a deal breaker for me.
Not sure when, but we will be back

Tracy, I just celebrated my birthday a couple of weeks ago on Black Pearl. There is no music, but Joann and the crew (Albert was on vacation) talk to everyone, get you drinks and take a short video of everyone on board and post it for you to see later online. It is so calm and relaxing, just the wind blowing, the occasional kite surfer flying by, it's perfect. It's almost like an informal little cocktail party with snorkel stops included. It gets in around 7:00 PM, so it's a bit late for us to go out, plus you eat sandwiches and have drinks on board. Don't let the lack of music break the deal. The next night I had my birthday dinner at Barefoot. It was the best meal I had this past trip and I have already decided we'll go back next year. Whatever you decide, have a wonderful birthday on Aruba. We can't wait to read your excellent report!
