Speaking of casinos has anyone seen an Ancient Ruins, or maybe it's Mystic Ruins machine at any of the Casinos? That's my mission for November. Whichever casino has the machine will be my new favorite!
Favorite, occidental, in it's prime years ago, it was hopping all night.
same employees the past 24 years....
Sadly Least favorite, occidental, upset how new ownership neglected the needs of the casino..
hey, it's been our home along time, many memorable nights..
We'll never jump ship..
I love the idea of playing blackjack with 2 decks...I can count pretty well but that does little use on 6 decks...I may need to check out the glitz.
It is a friendly casino. I've played both the 6-deck and two-deck tables. I don't try to count cards but loosely keep track of picture cards. Not sure it helps much.Has always been The Casino at the Radisson....... most years quite good to me including Royal Flushes at video poker 3 out of the last 5 years. Staying at the Amsterdam Manor this year, I really grew to love the Glitz. Smaller casino with 2 deck blackjack and some really nice dealers.
Aruba4ever, I have to agree with you. We love the Ritz, very clean, new machines, great drinks in pretty glasses and great attitude from the dealers. The worse is HI. The dealers have a real unfriendly attitude, old machines. Hope they change.
Since we are at the Radisson/Hilton past number of years, usually go there. Some years it paid for vacation, some not. Hyatt and Crystal come in 2 and 3. We always had good luck at Alahambra, but as Andrea says, the smoke is heavy. Or to sum it up the ones we win at.
I love the Glitz! Does anyone know if the Trop casino has reopened?
