I personally like the all inclusive. We stay at the divi all inclusive and have a great variety of restaurants to pick from between the Divi and Tamerin. We usually go to dinner off the resort once while we are there, but I think the AI price is well worth it if you like to eat and drink...

I will be in Aruba staying @ the Divi we will have approx. 20 ppl staying at the Tam and Divi, I will be getting married on the beach March 9th!

The Tam and Divi are both AI's (not an option). I like the AI's b/c while at the resort I don't have to walk around w/my wallet. Also, it doesn't mean you can't go out to eat. We still go out to El Gaucho's and the Driftwood and still explore the island. We mostly had breakfast and lunch and a few dinners @ the Tam when we stayed there previously.

Congrats on the marriage! My wife and I got married in June and this trip is our honeymoon. Maybe we'll see ya on the beach. If not,good luck to you!

We also do both. We have breakfast and lunch at the resort. Drink incredible mixed drinks and balashi all day then hit the night life starting with a great (pick one of many) resteraunt.

You can always take a break and get out to a local restaurant. We stay at the Divi and will be there March 4-12. It's nice to be able to spend the week without having to have credit cards/money.

am so jealous..you willlove it..we booked late and are at the Holiday inn the same time. Pay for deluxe ocean and use the divi property as well. You won't be disappointed..enjoy!

There are some great restaurants in Aruba. After visiting Aruba for 26yrs I must say only our 1st trip was all inclusive. We now look forward to all our favorite restaurants.

Just like Paula said, if you want to bus it and taxi it every night, go for it. We've been doing the AI as long as it's been there, and you can also get the AI at the Divi. It's not that much more money. It can get very expensive eating out every night, plus your drinks. I'm not really a person to go to different restaurants every night, but I've also been in all of them after 24 yrs. I would just rather eat there when I'm ready, and eat as little or as much as I'd like.
