We used to go in January or February. Now that our daughter is in middle school we go in November. In New Jersey we have a teachers convention so school is closed for 3 days and she does not miss much class work. Our daughter already informed us that when she is in college we have to go during her winter break and we are not allowed to go without her.
We always go the first or second week of december it a nice run of time off from work between thanksgiving then aruba then Christmas and new year
First three trips during Summer. Last 8 have been in the fall - less crowded, and water seems to be a little warmer. Never any concerns with the "Rainy" season. We happened to be in Aruba when Sandy hit the east coast. Next year will be in October.
Let me think spending last 15 years in the Boston area in Janruary. Or the month of Janruary in Aruba?.Tough choice.Shoveling or swimming?Freezing or tanning?
From Marblehead ma.Every Jan stay at Costa Linda. For last 20 years.
We've been in May, June, July, August, September and October. We have been going in September the past few trips. We like that time as it's less crowded, fewer kids and we can walk in to most restaurants without reservations. It's also a nice time to relax before the holiday season starts up here at home. We would like to go over Thanksgiving or Christmas/New years, but we spend that time with family.
