Okay, I know you guys are polite, but as a PATRIOT'S football fan, I can expect some rather edgy replies to my post. Hey, some verbal jousting in the sports arena seems fair. Honestly, as a long time Patriot's fan I expect many of you Aruba lovers to have a different perspective on my favorite team. Well, wither you love the Patriots or route against them, you know they are the best NFL has to offer! Oh, well, I expect some comments, but it is easy for me truthful because my team is NUMBER ONE!
So, enough baiting... (smile)
While I am Aruba this month, the Patriots will be playing on Thursday, October 29, and Sunday, November 8. I really want to enjoy watching the game.
Where should I go to watch the games? It would be great to be in a Patriots' friendly place, but I just want to cheer on my team in an environment full of enthusiastic football fans, even if the majority of the folks are not routing for my team.
My wife is not a football fan, but it would be nice to have her share the games with me. Unfortunately, she has limited mobility. She can walk a short distance with a walker. She cannot lift her legs up stairs.
We will have a car and a scooter so she can get places. Help us figure out where to go.
We welcome to all suggestions. If you know of a great place for me to go without her that I would like, please say so. My wife, Barbara, doesn't mind not going. A marriage of 48 years make us very comfortable in doing our on thing. What a great joy it is to her by my side watching a game that means absolutely nothing to her. She sees me making a fool of myself doing wild cheering, yelling, hand slapping and body moves unbecoming of a “Senior Citizen”. Oh yeah, she makes some comments, but since she has no clue about football, she allows me some transgressions.
So why didn't I just ask for a place to watch a football game? Well, I wanted you to know a little more about me.
Thanks all for your help! ( If you reply, let me know your NFL fan base.)
