    But perhaps the ATA could give them a little "nudge" in the right direction. After all, the govt. is "revitalizing" downtown and that IS a landmark.

    yup the ATA undoubtedly is not the owner

    but, as linda says maybe a little nudge from tourism would get the mall ownership/management co some motivation to get it fixed.

    As my mom used to tell me, "The squeaky wheel (sometimes) gets the grease". If you don't tell them, they might not notice the difference.
    Granted, not an easy thing to miss, but in the grand scheme of things, it's small.
    I'm sure the new government has (what they would perceive as) bigger things to deal with, but as has been previously mentioned, it is something of a landmark.
