For all of the things Aruba has going for it...(anything and everything you would want from a Carribbean Island, but better than the rest)...the thing I like most about Aruba is spending carefree time with my wife and family for two weeks a year. Priceless!

Dolores, the picture is a forum "avatar". Get an avatar go to:

User CP
Under Settings & Options
Edit Avatar
You will see the choice of two boats, make sure after you check your selection that you scroll down and click on "save changes"

My wife and i have been to aruba three times now, along with a handfull of other tropical destinations... from hawaii to st thomas... all very beautiful, tropical, warm, and scenic. But there is just something about aruba... it's a blend of the warmth as it hits your face... the tropical sounds, the palm trees AND the arid inland areas... the people, landscape, and relaxation. There is also the RIGHT amount of things to do. Not too much, not too little. The weather is also just about perfect...

i think where you stay on the island plays a part in your overall opinion. Im not sure if we stayed at a highrise, that we would have had the same feeling... maybe we would have - but im happy with the lowrise section and the intimate, secluded feeling it provides...

the people are great,the weather is beautiful.the island is clean . the casinos are fun the beaches are top notch, what else could anyone want
