Windpark Progress

A friend emailed me some pictures of the windpark -
they are really going fast with it. I had read recently
in "The News" that they are expecting it go on line
at the end of the year and account for 20% of Aruba's
electricity. Kinda cool!

Thought i'd just share it with the group.

we drove by there (it's at the tail end of the arikok trail). they're massive. also, the area is cordone off with fences and signs that reads "restricted area - military training - live ammunition used" needless to say, my wife freaked out and couldn't wait to get out of the area.

Yeah - that "military zone" has been there since we started visiting there like 15 years ago. Great photo opportunity! LOL!

The write up about those windmills say they are massive but they gave the meters - I think mick said the height was like 3 football fields high.
