Worried first timer
My husband and I are traveling to Aruba on vacation for the first time in March. We booked airfare and resort through an internet travel site. I've been able to check on the airline's website to make sure we DO have seats, but I'm concerned about the resort reservation. Should I contact the resort (Divi All Inclusive) to make sure they have our reservation?? I do have a conformation code, should this be enough to ease my mind?
Thanks!!

IMO, you should be fine but also IMO if it makes you feel better confirm it with the Divi. You should never have to worry about vacation. 15 plus years going using internet booking and not one problem. Have a great time! You picked a great island.

or contact customer service at the internet travel site where you booked.
when you paid in full, did they give you a link for documents/confirmtaion to print for resort check in? |

![]() ![]() ![]() Don't worry about a thing. It will be a wonderful vacation in Paradise.. There's a a lot of people on this site that have dealt with the Divi, and they would let you know if there were any concerns. Have a wonderful vacation. ![]() ![]()

as long as you have a reservation code you should be fine....and if you checked and you have seats, then I am sure your Divi reservations are good also.....
You will have a wonderful time and this is a great forum for helping you with decisions about what to do and not to do !!!!! have fun and take lots of pictures !!!!

I have been on 100's of flights and booked 100's of hotels and always booked online.
In 99,9% of the cases it works like a charm, but the only time I had a problem was at a hotel. I had booked via Expedia (Big Microsoft owned site, so you would think it is ok) at a big 5 star hotel in Amsterdam and had all the confirmations you could want from Expedia. When I showed up to check-in I was told that the hotel was full because of big conferences. I of course showed them my confirmation from Expedia and they looked in their system and said that they did not have any booking in my name. Called Expedia and they confirmed my booking, but said that there was nothing they could do except help me with another hotel. It took several hours and a lot of agony before a new hotel was booked since the whole city was packed. Ever since then I have always booked directly with the hotel or if not then sent them an email and asked them to reply on it with a confirmation of my booking with them. That has saved me a couple of times since then. So considering it would take you less than 5 minutes to ask for a confirmation from Divi by email, I would do that on all my vacations to have peace of mind and not suddenly stand at the reception in Aruba and hear that the hotel is full, even though the chances are very slim that it would ever happen.
