Yes, another weather question!

Hi--trying to plan a week in mid-August, and wondering what the "normal" August weather conditions are (no laughing--just info, please!!). We visited mid-July the past 2 summers, and it was fantastic--hot, sunny, no rain. Thanks.

Oh--just thought of another question--Marriott's Stellaris beach was very crowded both weeks that we visited. Is mid-August also a very popular time??

you'll find the weather in mid august very similar to the july weather that you have already experienced

re: crowds august always used to be our month of choice to visit the island. now due to scheduling difficulties we cannot make it in august this year. we have never found it to be crowded at all. dinner reservations necessary for the places that typically are very popular (Madam Janette, Flying Fishbone, leDome, Driftwood)

imo the marriott area (beach) always seems to be crowded.

crowds in August

I think this year MIGHT be a bit less crowded than usual at the Marriott, as there is construction going on, and a part of the hotel is closed. So it stands to reason, less guests, less crowded on the beach. The silver lining. Going in 2 weeks, hope I'm right.

Even though every Aruba site says the weather is pretty constant year-round, I guess one can understand how someone who usually goes in December might wonder about August weather. But July?
