Are you missing Aruba Stroopwaffle cookies?

Well lo and behold, although not in Aruba, I found StroopWaffle cookies @ Aldi here in Florida. $2.99. I bought 12 packs and they are all snuggly stored in the freezer.

These can also be found at SuperFood and Lings when you are on island.
Also to be found at the airport shopping (departure side) but are priced higher than grocery stores.

We never had them in Aruba, but tried them for the first time in Amsterdam this summer. They were making them fresh at a street market near our hotel. Soooo good. I must try Aldi. Thanks!

Always bring some back to share with the folks at home. Need smaller cups, they fall into the coffee :-(

Robin I can not imagine how amazing they must be fresh like that!

We always bring home a few from Superfood while we are in Aruba. Never buy them at home - they are a special Aruba treat. We were gifted an entire wheel of Gouda while on the island last month. The person who gave it to us also included some stroopwaffels and suggested they be eaten together - one cookie with a very thin slice of cheese on top. The kids were not big fans, but my Sister in law was!
