My advice, for what it's worth anyway...
Our doctor told us (our son is 4 months old) that if we are thirsty in the heat then the baby will be also. Also, no water (other than what is used to make formula) until the baby is 1 yr old, but Pedialyte is acceptable for dehydration if they won't take formula/breastmilk. Check with your pediatrician so you have their recommendations before you go. |

i hear ya about the pediatricians sang "no water b4 aged 1"
ours said the same thing, i ignored him ![]() when our son had a cold or congestion, an ounce or 2 of water HELPED immensely. pedialyte is a perfect thing to bring to aruba. |

Andrea, I hear you too! : ) I suppose you learn what to trust your instinct on. As in tonight, rice cereal! Doc said 6 mo, Dylan wants it at 4 mo and I'm gonna give it to him
