all inclusive

First trip to aruba will be this february. I will be traveling with 3 teenage boys. Could you tell me if I should go all inclusive or not? What Hotels have good all inclusive resturants?

RE: all inclusive

Lisa,

Unless you come from some bucks, 6 of you eating 3 meals a day plus soft and alcohol drinks is going to run you aproximately $300.00 to $600 dollars a day depending on what and where you eat. I'd go all inclusive and if you still want to treat yourself out to a certain restaurant or two, then go for it.

I agree completely. Teens can drink $$$ -- whether or not they are alcoholic drinks. I brought my teen to the Tamarijn. There were a lot of teens there and she had a great time.

We are going back again next year.

With 3 teens I ditto the above. I'd go Tam or Divi Beach, Divi being the nicer of the two.....unless a 2 bedroom time-share would suit you better than a couple of hotel rooms, in which case La Cabana is the only time-share offering an all-inclusive.

By the way, February is high-season, very busy on Aruba, so don't wait too long to make your arrangements.

Does the Marriott have an all inclusive plan? How do you find out about it?

RE: all inclusive

If you do decide to eat out, you may want to consider Alfredo's as an inexpensive and fun place to eat. Big portions, reasonably priced. Also, it is attached to an arcade, mini-golf, water bumper cars and a surprisingly family friendly Harley Davidson pub!
