We are returning to Aruba in a couple of weeks for our third visit and have always stayed at the Tamarijn. The buffet food is pretty good, but don't eat there all the time. They have several really nice choices outside the buffet and you can always go down the beach to their sister restort, the Divi, and enjoy a few places to eat down there as well.

4 trips to Aruba. AI is the way to go! first trip i talked two other couples out of going AI. We had a GREAT time but spent alot of $$$$ on food and drinks.(should have listened to my friend
)Went AI at the Divi last year and the food was good and the drinks were STRONG...if you want, you can still go to the restaraunts on the island, but we didnt need to. Have fun, no matter what you choose you cant beat "chillin in ARuba"

i usually recommend AI to those with kids, those on 1st visits or those that want no $$$ surprises.
there are some great AI places on Aruba. for those folks that like to drink, the AI might be the way to go. |

We have been to Aruba 13 times now. We have never done an AI but this November we will be. We have been to most of the restaurants in Aruba and we enjoy going to them very much. With 2 youngins we feel the AI is the smartest way to go for the next couple of years. We will still do at least one dinner just the 2 of us out. My parents come every year with us so we get some alone time here and there which is pretty cool.
