We are planning a trip to Aruba in May of this year. Any suggestions for hotels with good kids programs that would accomodate my 2 1/2 year old? I know there is probably not much to do for the 8 month old.

well, we went to aruba in october with all four.and we stayed in a timeshare on Eagle Beach *( case del mar). they had a fantastic kids program there. My oldest is 12.and youngest was 2. My 2 and 4 yr old did not do the kids program much. But my 2 yr old did go in there and watch a movie with her older brothers. they had scavenger hunts, bingo, pizza parties,etc. The pool was good for the kids too. I bought sand toys for the youngr ones & they spent lots of time, well covered in sunscreen playing on the beach....
Have you considered a timeshare? if not. check into La Cabana, Hyatt,places like that.Good luck

small resorta as casa del mar , aruba beach club and costa linda are the best for families with small children, it a pity you are not coming in august i have a 2 bedroom suite ground floor poolside suite at costalinda for rent aug11-18 2006

My husband and I stayed at the La Cabana in November and they had great daily childrens activities as well lots of children around and an awesome slide for young children all the way to the use for an adult. I think I had too much fun on it!!! Now we are bringing our 5 yr old daughter in December 2006.
