We're planning a trip in December and are considering Aruba, but I'm concerned that December may not be a good beach time - even for Aruba. Anyone been there in December? What was the weather like?

I don't understand what you mean about "not good beach time". The weather in Aruba is always hot because it is so close to the Equator. The weather on the island doesn't change very much throughout the year. Make those reservations and have a great time.

Wife & I were there last year - Christmas through New Years.
"beach time" was excellent. Going again for same time frame
this year. We've had visits there during 7 of the 12 months and have yet to be disappointed. Pack a high spf sun screen, you'll need it ;^) and have a great visit.

Lot's of great restaurants and my suggestion is don't go all inclusive if you like to try nice places as there are plenty to choose from so why get stuck w/only one or just a few. It's great and safe and fun and and and. Enjoy.
There's not much change in the weather in Aruba. Having been there 7 different months, like the other person that responded, you can't tell the difference from one month to another. It's very hot and can be humid. If you have lived in the Boston area this summer was a lot like Aruba other than you live in your bathing suits in Aruba. FYI Take several bathing suits. Everything dries quickly though.

Decemeber is the only time we go to Aruba the weather is always great no matter when you go.

We have a cruise planned early December to Aruba and St. Maarten and St.Lucia and Puerto Rico. Would you suggust that the weather is hot(mid 80's) and humid. hould the dress be as casual and "beachy" as I suspect? Any other tips? thanks so much for your help.
