Baby food
My son will have just turned 1 when we go to Aruba in 24 days! Up until this past weekend, he had been boycotting baby food. I mean, the turning his nose up throwing the spoon across the room kind of refusal so I hadn't worried about what variety I would find on the island. I figured I would just feed him the finger foods he likes, which is limited, but growing every day.
This weekend he got sick and on a lark I decided to try baby food again to soothe his throat. Now, he can't get enough of it. That little stinker! ![]() Has anyone been to Lings recently and possibly perused that section of the store? I am just wondering if it's easy to find Gerber or Beechnut brands. He's not too particular but carrots are his favorite. He'll have good eyesight anyway! ![]() Just trying to avoid having to pack too much. Thank you in advance!

Oh No! That's funny!
The thought crossed my mind when his high chair tray started to take on an orangey-yellow tinge. It has faded since he was boycotting the carrots, now it smells like cheese since that became his favorite. Every day, shredded cheddar! Hahahaha! And ground turkey. Yesterday, he was head to toe peas. He has started to self - feed with a spoon out of a bowl and that promptly got tossed to the dog waiting at the base of the high chair. Thank goodness he is cute! This is just the beginning too right? ![]() Oh and I keep saying that the sun & water will make him healthy too! Last edited by ctfirewife-mjn109; 01-12-2012 at 01:51 PM. |
