My family will be staying at the Wyndham Aug 25th to Sept 2nd and would like to know about the staff qualifications, package/prices of babysitting services for a 14 month old. I'm aware of kids/family programs offered and their respectable reputation is well deserved but I'm unsure of services for younger children. I appreciate your time, consideration and assistance with this matter.

Try calling Aruba Tourism at 1-800-TO-ARUBA and see if they can help or at least get the e-mail address from them for the Wyndham.

I'll be at the wyndham from the 24th-31 with my 19 year old and 13 year old, both who have babysat (CPR certified, etc.) Not to be cruel but for enough $$$ one of my daughters could probably be bribed into babysitting for an evening if you are looking for a romantic night out.

Most of the hotels offer babysitters who work at the resort and are very reliable. We have a housekeeper who babysits for us. Check with your resort.

You tell them they are a bad parent because the are looking for a babysitter!! But I am sure if you were eating dinner and there was a screaming child, you would also complain about that. Some people cannot leave their children at home, some just don't want to, but that does not make them a bad parent if they are looking for childcare! And this also doesn't mean they don't deserve to go on vacation if they have to bring their children, Aruba is a very family orientated island. And I think they deserve a night alone!

If I were you I would contact the Whyndam and see what type of services they have available. I know Lacabana has wonderful childcare services and I am sure Whyndam has the same, for like I had mentioned before, Aruba is a very family orientated island! Good luck in your search for childcare and have a wonderful trip!
