I am coming to Aruba with my husband and three kids (16, 14, & 10). Where is the best place for us to stay? I was looking at an all inclusive because my teens can eat and drink alot. But, if it's cheaper to go not all inclusive then we might do that. I was looking for two rooms, but not necessarily a condo... I don't have any real desire to cook when I am on vacation. So if anyone has any ideas, it would be greatly appreciated if you would share them with me and my family.

I think that the Tam or LaCabana would suit you nicely. La Cabana does have facilities if you want to cook. The Tam all-inclusive is probably a better choice if you have big eaters.

I don't know how people so small can eat so much. Well, my 16 year old isn't so small... he's taller than I am! But anyway, they do eat alot. Does anyone else recommend the Tam? I will check in to it.

La Cabana. Rent a two-bedroom time-share and go all-inclusive. Yes you can do all-inclusive at La Cabana. It's the only time-share resort that offers all-inclusive. I think the kids would enjoy that resort more because of the 3 pools, including one with a slide and the many activities they provide for kids of all ages. You can also walk across the street to the Adventure Golf facility for miniature golf, a game room, paddle boats, batting cages, etc. And just so you know, I can't think of one time share resort on the island that doesn't have restaurants on site. Unless maybe La Quinta, not sure about that one. You don't HAVE to cook just because you have a kitchen.

I have had a friend that stayed in the tam and the rooms are very small but, the food is great and the entertainment is great. I am an Owner at La Cabana and my 14 year old loves it there... There is so much activities for her and pool and ocean is much better than the Tam's. So if you looking for the beach and pool I would go for La Cabana but if your looking for food and cheap rates Tam.

Definately La Cabana!!!! i have been to aruba 6 times with my family and i found aruba to be the best Family resort. and with much to do. enjoy

I also agree. I just got back from LaCabana Suites. I am a travel agent and I can tell you it is wonderful. They have a Dunkin Donuts on the property and the cafe in front of the hotel when you arrive has salads at a real cheap price. There were tons of teenagers and children there. My husband and I love La Cabana.
