It's amazing what really needs to be spelled out for people nowadays.
I almost bet someone thought they could send their baby thru the xray machine!

There would be folks who would do it because they just did not know any better or plain and simple, lacked common sense.
Common sense seems to be lacking these days in many walks of life. I live in the south where they are waving their confederate flags, STILL, fighting the civil war. ![]() Just received word that a friend of the family's son lost his home to a fire. Without power in the northeast, he left a fire burning in the fireplace unattended and went upstairs to sleep. He was awakened at midnight by the smoke alarm and a fire downstairs. No one was hurt, but again, is it not common sense to never leave a fire unattended?

Oh, Lisa, so sorry to hear about your friends son. I am glad he is ok though.
I am sure that with the power being out for so long and being without heat/hot water, he was exhausted and just wanted to be warm and get some rest. As the wife of a fireman, yes, it's probably not a good idea to leave a fire unattended. |
