My dh and I have decided that vacations for us are also vacations from internet and texting. We don't have children so it makes the choice a lot easier. I make sure our immediate family has our hotel and travel arrangements for emergencies.like the old days..lol. We spend way too much time online and on our smart phones at home and I can say after the first day, my withdrawals ease up and I feel free from the handcuffs my phone has on me. We have done this on our last 3 vacations and don't plan on changing that.
Not sure when, but we will be back

I go phone/internet free in Aruba. I'll tell ya what, I am so much happier disconnected from everyone and everything! Makes for a much more enjoyable experience.

We went with no cell phones to Aruba in February. Me, my wife, 12 yr old son and 16 yr old daughter. No complaints whatsoever....how could they complain...they were in ARUBA!!!!!
