First time family vacation

My wife and our two children are coming to Aruba for the first time on May 6th. We are staying at the Divi Aruba All Inclusive. I just wanted to get some ideas on where to go, what to see, excursions, etc. Looking forward to getting there!

Send a message via Skype™ to Andrea J.
I would suggest not overloading them with land tours as they may protest leaving the beach or pools.
I suggest going to the Butterfly Farm EARLY morning before it gets too hot.
Also suggest the Donkey Sanctuary and the Ostrich farm.
The Jolly Pirate snorkel tour is fun with kids.
You may be hard pressed to pull them away from the beach or pool.
If you are adverturous contact serry for a private island tour to shark teeth hill.
www.pitaruba.com the kids can collect fossilized shark teeth.
really quite cool.

Our dd LOVED the Jolly Pirates snorkel lunch cruise. ESPECIALLY the rope swing!

+1 for jolly pirates. it's one fo the more lively excursions and mostly younger crowd. although due to the shape of the boat (an actual pirate ship replica) - space is limited.

the other popular snorkeling tour is provided by de palm tours. however, i wouldn't recommend this one for your kids unless they're comfortable with snokeling in 60' of water. for novices it can be quite a scary endeavour - especially since that is the first spot they take you out to before the more nerve calming waters that are 10' deep.

Another vote for Jolly Pirate! Way too much fun.

I also think it is a must to go to baby beach if you have transportation.

The pool at the Divi is nothing special, not hard to pull anyone away from there. In fact, I'm not sure I've seen anyone actually in the pool at the Divi.

My vote is Baby Beach is a must if you want to relax, and the Divi pool is correct is a pool, but the beachs are great, especially Baby Beach. everything Andrea and Arubalisa recommended are great for family.
