Game Boy on Airplanes

Just wondering - my son is really wanting to take his Game Boy handheld electronic game on the plane, as it will be a really long flight for us(and will also keep mom and Dad's sanity by not answering "are we there yet?" every five mins.!). Anybody know if this is a problem?

Crissy,

That's a tough one! PRE Sept. 11th you could bring them on but could not use them at takeoff or landing times, only at cruising altitude.

Now, I would urge you to contact your airline representative in their customer service department.

Good luck

Jim

Let him take it, along with some extra batteries.
They allow PDA's, laptops, CD players, etc. and I see kids with their Game Boys all the time.

Enjoy.

THEY ARE ALLOWED, NO DOUBT!!!!!! 9/11 WILL BE A DAY WE WILL FORGOT, BUT THE AIRLINES HAVE RESUMED BACK TO NORMAL TRAVEL POLICIES. THE ONLY THING THAT HAS CHANGED IS SECURITY ~ WHICH ISN'T AT IT'S BEST, YET!!!!!

RE: Game Boy on Airplanes

I recently took my children on an airplane and they both were allowed to use their gameboys during flight. They only had to turn it off when the pilot advised.
