Re: halloween in aruba

Why can't people just answer an honest question?

Halloween is of course a US holiday, but has been adopted by Aruba here and there to please the tourists.
Many children walk up and down the high rise hotel hotels and are greeted in the traditional fashion with candy. So, feel free to bring a costume for your child and they won't miss out!

I am going down there during Halloween too with my 18 month old. My parents have been going there every year for the past 20 years and said that they see Halloween festivities everywhere.

Re: halloween in aruba

We were in Aruba last year for Halloween and I saw little kids dressed up getting candy from hotel staff. It's not a big deal there since they don't celebrate it, but by all means, bring a costume because they definitely will acknowledge your child!

There are many things going on in Aruba for children. On Friday an article will be written for all the fun events on the island for all ages. So don't miss out and bring your costume.
