roryfinn - your six kids can hang with my five! very funny response. i always bring my kids - have no choice really since grandparents and aunts and uncles are not close by. besides, i like to share the experience and create memories with my kids. i've been places where i have hired a babysitter recommended by the hotel and have decided at the last minute that i wasn't comfortable leaving and have also been comfortable enough a few times to leave the kids with a babysitter. whatever works. yes, it is important for my husband and i to have some time alone but not to the detriment of our children. people need to lighten up. let's support eachother. doesn't our society have enough problems without us bashing one another for a difference of opinion?
