Kids Programs at the Tam

Any feedback on the kids programs at the Tam or at the Divi resorts? Do they have daily programs? Are they well attended or do they often cancel for lack of kids? We are staying the first week of December with two girls aged 4 and 6 and would appreciate any info. Thanks.

I have been researching the same topic since early April

Kids program at Divi/Tam
Tamarijn with kids?

Information On The Tamarijn

From what I have read, expect something but not a lot, taking into account the time of year you will be there.

With that being said, I would not worry though. I had great fears last year that our 10 yo would be bored to tears at the Radisson. Though their kid's club was closed most of the time due to staffing and she was only 1 of 4 kids at the resort and the oldest, our dd made out just fine. Between the beach and the swimming pool there was plenty to keep her occupied.

We broke up the 7 days with a day snorkel/sail on the Tranquilo, an afternoon scuba diving and a day touring the island.

Your children are younger and may love a day at the Waterpark on De Palm Island.

Thanks for the info - we are definitely planning a day at DePalm Island. As if the snorkeling wasn't worth the trip already, now they have a water park for the kids. Awesome!

Yes, their waterpark is supposed to be really geared towards the little ones. Enjoy, we cannot wait to hear all about it upon your return and of course any photos will be icing on the cake. Our family will be there a few weeks after yours.

Kids programs at Tam

We have stayed at the Tam a few times with the kids. They do have cute activities for them.

They do little crafty things.......key chains, picture frames, my kids loved it. They are 5 and 8 now and are looking forward to going back. I didn't know about the water park on DePalm Island! That should be good!

The price to take a family to the water park will croak you. It is better and cheaper to take the snorkel gear for free from the Tam for the day and rent a car to go to fisherman's huts, arashi beach and baby beach.
