When are you going? I plan on using it in October. I've never used it before but anytime I've walked by it, the kids are having a fabulous time. I can let you know when I get back.

Ok, I come back Nov. 1st.
I am also considering using a babysitter while I'm there. There is a woman who comes highly recommended by numerous people on this bb.

Does anyone know how old the kids have to be and how much it costs? I'm thinking of using it a few times for my 3 year old when we go next week. Also when we were there 2 years ago we used a sitter that worked at la cabana and she was wonderful...can't remember her name though.

Age is not stated on their site. There are various charges for a variety of activities.

"$25 per day, per child
10:00 am until 3:00 pm
Wednesday Cabana Nana 5:00 - 9:00 pm (sign up one day in advance) "

I'm almost positive it's for children between 5 - 12 years old.
Also, a woman named Mariza Garcia comes highly recommended from this site to babysit. I'm using her in October. Her email is mflda@yahoo.com.

Just got back. Used LaCabana Nana once for both of my girls and they loved it. They played games etc.
1 hour: $10
2 hours: $15
3 hours: $20
4 hours: $25.
They are located poolside due to the construction.

Also, the babysitter I used was wonderful and I highly recommend her. Her name is Mariza and she charges $12 per hour.

Thanks. My girls are 4 and a half. Would this work for them?
How was your trip BTW?
Also do you have to stay there to use the service?

I don't think it matters. They didn't ask how old my 5 year old was. If they do ask, just say they are 5. At first my girls did not want to go (we were going shopping downtown) but once they saw all the games and activities they changed their tune.
I think you do have to stay there to use it but not sure. The resort uses wrist bands now to prove you are a guest.
Our trip was fantastic with one little mispap I'm going to post on the trip report. Weather was perfect!!!!!!
