Why would anyone bring there kids to Aruba if there not at least 10 years old leave them at home there not much for them to do and its going to cost you alot to fly them there and your suppose to be on vacation leave those crum snatchers at home and enjoy the island. This isn't a theme park!

Think it depends !!!!!

>>>> "Why would anyone bring there kids to Aruba if there not at least 10 years old"
---- ????? Many reasons both ways.
Yes would say for second honeymoon go by yourselves if you have someone back home to take good care of them. Some parents are lucky that way. Others not.
---- Have been coming to Aruba since 1987.
First year 2 college grads came. Bought a timeshare that year. Now have 2 grandsons and they and daughter come every year.
>>>> "your suppose to be on vacation leave those crum snatchers at home and enjoy the island"
---- Not always but over the years have found our grandsons behave better than some of the adults. Son and daughter a few years ago went an bought a week.

Re: leave small kids at home

Most people love there children and like to spend time with them. Hench the phrase Family Vacation. My daughter has been to aruba 7 times and she is only 6. She also askes to ge each year. For those of us who know Aruba is a second home. FYI Aruba loves children and will do anything to make your stay a happy one.

Re: leave small kids at home

I just returned with my 3 and 4 year old. They had a ball!!!. They swam, played on the beach, made friends. They enjoyed the butterfly farm.

They behaved so well, people commented to us everywhere we went how well behaved they were, including a 2 hour dinner at Chez Mathilde that you would have never know they were even in the restaurant.

We now have some wonderful memories that will be with us always. I wouldn't have changed a thing.

Maybe you should stay home.

Pretty ridiculous comment. I agree with the others. I just went to Aruba w/my 2 young boys(10 and 8) and had a great time. They had better manners than many adults also!
My idea of vacation is WITH my family. Not to mention, the kids had a blast. If we wanted a theme park, we would've gone to one...not even a comparison there.

My children have been going to Aruba since they were 6 and 10. They ask to go back there more than asking to go to Disney!! Aruba is a family destination in my opinion. Perhaps Lawrence should stay home and keep his opinions to himself.

Re: leave small kids at home

We brought our kids (7,5 and 4) to Aruba 2 months ago. They loved it...and my husband and I had a great time too. We enjoyed watching them swim and play together. Also had babysitters for alone time. Truly a wonderful family vacation. The 4 year old still talks about Aruba and asks when we are going back. I agree...you should stay at home!

Re: leave small kids at home

What a stupid thing to say! I have traveled with my 4 children since my youngest was 1 year old. My kids love Aruba, look forward to the FAMILY vacation every year, and each have their own favorite restaurants, favorite activities, special memories of Aruba. After 8 trips together as a family to Aruba, this wonderful island has become our home away from home. Everyone is already looking forward to our next trip there in 2007.

How Rude!! My son (now THREE) will be making his second trip to the island in a few weeks and we can't wait to go with him. I'm actually disappointed that he can't do some of the things with us that I'd like (mi Dushi cruise).
