Just a quick sanity check if you will. Myself and Family (Kids 13 and 8) are leaving for a week of bliss on Aruba. Does anyone have any suggestions for me as a first timer..... I have read a bunch of the posts but figured I would ask.... We are staying at the Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino.

Welcome to the forum.
There are a lot of good specific first time suggestions at http://www.aruba.com/forum/tags/first%20time.html For a first time visit, for only a week, you will probably want to spend most of your time on the beach with a half day dedicated to a snorkel excursion and another 1/2 dedicated to seeing the island. The 8 yo would more than likely be bored with a full day tour. |

Relatives did the kyak tour, liked it, didn't love it. Too tired. Other suggestions would be; sail on Palm Pleasure with snorkel stops or Jolly Pirate, 1/2 day tour of the island, jeep tour...
