Mill Resort and Suites

Has anyone stayed at the Mill Resort and Suites. Planning on taking our two kids 7 and 12 there in late July time. Do they have a kids club or camp. Is it a good hotel for kids. Heard something it was more for singles.

LaCabana is the place to go. Condo's for the price of a hotel room. LaCabana Nana kids camp. www.lacabana.com We love it there, the price is right, everything is just perfect. Best beach , 3 pools!!! Leaving for 2 weeks in May. Good Luck!!!

RE: Mill Resort and Suites

Just returned from the Wyndham which is across the street from the Mill Resort. While I did not go into the Mill Resort it is not on the beach. Also, the Wyndham has a sign in their lower lobby that guests from the Mill Resort cannot walk through their lobby to get to the beach. This forces you to take a roundabout walk down a public street to the beach. Unless you are getting the bargain of your life at the Mill Resort I would opt for a beachfront hote.

Are there restroom facilities on the beach or do you have to walk back to the hotel or sneak into the Westin?

Mill resorts are across from beach at the Westin (formerly the Wyndham). I use Westin beach bathrooms or pee in the ocean. Mill resort is nice, no kids club that I remember, 2 pools, garden restaurant--great food, bar (2 for 1 happy hour 5-7), some entertainment on some nights, free internet in lobby for guests, free coffee from 6 to 7 AM and 10-11 AM in lobby, small on site grocerette ( a little pricey), friendly people, lush tropical gardens, spa, tennis, free parking, car ride to and from their own beach spot with chairs, security, towel hut at beach and pool, car rental and tour desks in lobby, coin laundromat, rooms cleaned every day, friendly people, a 2 minute walk to bus stop, many restaurants nearby or within 8-10 minute walk. See www.millresort.com for pix and info. I stayed there once and would again if need be. Also, across the street is the bird sanctuary and viewing tower and the butterfly farm is a 10-15 minute walk away.
