Re: nanny recommendations?
tracy.. i have been bringing my daughter to aruba for 5 years in a row,, since she was one... i never had a babysitter.. that does not mean it is wrong to have one.. i just felt that i could never trust anyone that i didnt know... many people do it there... many of these people that work out of the hotel are bonded, and im sure they are fine... if you decide against this nanny situation... believe me i never had a problem with my daughter ,, she napped two times a day.. all i did was take her for a walk in her stroller and she fell asleep.. like i said two naps a day while in aruba..and during the am nap i got to enjoy time with my husband on the beach and the pm nap we enjoyed time again together.or had lunch together..with the baby right by my side....aruba is such a family oriented place you will want to be with your child all the time... . she was never too hot in the stroller.. get the netting that goes over the stroller...we just got back 3 weeks ago and she is five now, and i still do have the same routine, except its only one nap a day..but we have sooo much fun with her when she was one and every year after.. and i did bring my daughter to florida when she was 3 months old and did the same thing.my husband works very hard too and i am a stay at home mom... but he would never have it any other way but to have the three of us together as a family.. no matter what you decide im sure you will be fine and have a great time in aruba.. you will love it soo much... take care!
