Natural pool and bridge for kids

I am hading home for the 3rd time. Our excursions usually include a day trip to baby beach. This year we wanted to try something different. Our kids are 15, 13, and 8. Are the natural pool and bridge too much walking and climbing? Especially for the 8 yr old?
    Thanks

The Natural Pool is a little bit of a hike from the road, but should be ok for an 8 yr old - just bring lots of water to drink. The Natural Bridge site doesn't have much walking/climbing to worry about, there are the gold mine ruins right there which my kids love to check out and take pics in the window every year. There is also a shop for drinks/souvenirs at the bridge site.

imo the natural pool should be done on a jeep or an atv tour.
a jeep would be much safer for the kids

sometimes the natural pool is too rough and closed for swimming.
all of the time the steps leading to the natural pool are slippery so caution should be taken.

check out this thread, especially post 4 natural pool jeep ride

the fallen down natural bridge is easily accessible by sedan style car.

the jeep tours are safe and you can get lots of super pictures since you won't be driving....take swim shoes with you to the natural pool if you have them since the rocks can be slippery (and sharp in places)...think the kids would love it....I would also suggest a life vest for the 8 year old...not for anything, but I'm just a nervous nelly with kids and swimming.....
Natural Bridge is just cool....they will like it..
    Have fun !!!

be very careful at the natural pool, many people have gotten hurt and have had to go to the hospital. it can be too rough.
