I have the floating device that is a oval ring with seat in the middle .the 2 yrs old is 50/50 on the comfort scale. I did look up for the lifejacket and a bounce around device which both looked pretty comfortable. I checked SportsAthourity website and they do have it. thanks for the idea members.

Go in Babies or Us, Toys or US, Target and get one of those cheap blow up things they sell for kids. Some look like flying saucers, others little boats or lobsters.Bring it from home, blow it up there, and use it all week. No space in the suitcase...
